In response to requests
from consumers nationwide, Brother has instituted a new
program which allows you to choose from among our more
than 400 authorized Pacesetter-by-Brother dealer
locations when making a new Pacesetter machine purchase
and receiving initial basic lessons.
Here's how it works:
» Buy your Brother Pacesetter machine from the
authorized Pacesetter dealer of your choice.
» The purchase of a new machine from an authorized
Pacesetter dealer entitles you to receive basic machine
lessons at no charge. To receive your lessons, register
your machine by mailing the warranty card from the
machine box or visiting
http://www.registermybrother.com.
» Upon receipt of your registration, Brother will send
you a certificate for your basic machine lessons.
» Within 120 days of your purchase date, present the
certificate and a copy of your sales slip to any
authorized Pacesetter dealer.
» NOTE: As long as you purchase a new machine
from an authorized Pacesetter dealer, you are
entitled to the Brother factory warranty and free basic
lessons.
The key to receiving this support is
working with an authorized Pacesetter-by-Brother dealer
who can be identified by one of the following methods:
» The Pacesetter Dealer Locator list found on
http://www.brothersews.com.
This list provides the most current authorized dealer
locations.
» Look for the official Pacesetter-by-Brother gold
emblem prominently displayed on dealer websites. If the
dealer does not display the emblem, it is not an
authorized dealer.
» Web sites for authorized dealers will not advertise
retail prices for new machines nor accept on-line orders
for new machines. Instead, the site will suggest direct
contact with the store such as a phone call or visit. If
any site (such as an auction site) displays prices or a
"buy-it-now" action (such as a shopping cart),
then either the machine is used or the dealer is not
authorized by Brother. In either case, the machine does
not carry a Brother factory warranty or basic lessons.
» NOTE: Machines purchased from unauthorized dealers
or used machines (gently used, floor samples, classroom
models, etc.) are not covered by Brother’s warranty.
